Iron Man, the Hulkbusters and the Fantastic Four have gathered in the Baxter Building. They soon become alerted to the coming of many powerful beings. Tony goes to visit Happy Hogan when they are met by Doctor Doom. He tells Tony to come with him.

The Fantastic Four begin to battle the aliens as the Hulkbusters watch from the Baxter Building. Doom meanwhile, informs Iron Man of the threat they are about to face. They arrive at the SHIELD Helicarrier and join Nick Fury and the Avengers. Nick Fury informs them that the Fantastic Four have been killed in their battle with the beings from space.

The Avengers and the Hulkbusters go to battle, while the big brains remain behind to find another way to save the Earth. They create a power nullifying device, but when the time comes, it does not stop Galactus. Once again, Earth is consumed and Doom goes back in time another 24 hours to try and stop what has already happened three times......
